Sad news to report at the DOH! Network. Long time friend of the DOH! Network, Mr. Green past away a couple of weeks ago. Mr Green attended the last DOH! Network LAN and was always asking when the next one would be. I was just thinking about him a couple of days before he passed away. When we first started working together he was into Age of Empires and shortly before he passed Age of Empires became free to play and I was thinkinhg of chatting him to say we should start a game against each other.
Had a power spike over the weekend. It killed the server. I was able to connect to the server and copy the website to another drive before wiping the drive and reinstalling. The reinstall was easy enough but the site wouldn't load. Thanks to egrep, the site is back up but all the media for the homepage has been lost because the backup I made decided not to back up the redesign folder. Looks like it's time for another redesign of the site.
Wooooo!!! Found the site backed up on the old gaming machine. And a fairly recent backup to boot.
Note to self: Delete those Call of Duty 1 map pack downloads from the website archive.
