Steam has some pretty sweet deals this week. I just picked up Plants vs. Zombies Game of the Year Edition for $3.40. They also have a bunch of Need For Speed games available. I picked up Need for Speed Undercover for $2.50. You can also get Need for Speed: Shift for $6.80 or Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit for $14.99 but hurry. This deal ends in a couple of hours. There will be something new from EA Games tomorrow so check back for more deals then.

Amazon.com has Portal 2 for $29.99 for pc and $34.99 for Xbox and PlayStation 3.

Had an all hands meeting at work last week. They showed us a lot of cool upcoming things that I can't talk about yet but look for Disney to be everywhere this summer. The bad side of seeing all this cool stuff is that it makes the stuff I do seem pretty lame.

I was thinking the other day that maybe the power supply on the gaming machine went out and that's why I'm not getting any video. I switched to using a splitter that pulls power from two hard drive power supplies to into the 6 pronged plug for the videocard and that managed to short the board so the computer wouldn't start up at all. Had to remove everything and mess with a jumper and now it is working again. I decided it would be cheaper to instead of parting together a new computer it would be a lot more sensible to change the motherboard but I'm not even sure if it is the motherboard. I'm thinking I should get a bigger power supply since the newer videocard requires two of the 6 pronged jobs for power and the current power supply only has one and I need to make the second with the splitter. Maybe with the money I save I can get a quiter CPU fan. I need to get something since the Dell can barely handle Plants vs. Zombies.

The bacherlor pad continues to be in escrow as the buyer had a nervous breakdown and had to bring in a cosigner and a second appraisal is needed because of the lot size. Good times!
