The official Camp Rock website launched yesterday. I thought it was loading this morning but now not so much. I ended up not having much to do with the site since I got promoted from 'Web Content Developer' to 'Web Content Developer That Has To Go To Lots Of Meetings'. Burning Mass has been pretty much doing everything for Disney Channel. What time I have had for working on websites has been moving stuff around for Disney On Broadway so that it is under the disney.go.com URL because we found out the day before launch that there's a rule against having something.disney.go.com. It wasn't a huge deal. I was able to move the HTML pages and add a base href and then there were just a couple of minor changes the developer had to make. It made me look good because everybody was figuring it would take a couple of weeks to fix but only took me a couple of hours. The site still hasn't officially launched yet though because it needs to go through legal review and I've heard the business unit wants to change some stuff. I have been getting more involved in the next big thing for High School Musical 2 though. There's a big update coming in the next couple of weeks that will need my attention.

VMK will close it's doors on May 21. I was just looking through all the VMK cards Half Pint and I received for doing the in-park quests at Disneyland and from Matteekay and Yavn. I should go in and give away all the items before the site goes offline. It would be really cool to figure out how to make my own VMK type site but I've been sitting in meetings all week with possible developers for the new Disney Books site and seeing how little I really know about making websites. There's so much to learn and no time to learn it.

I have the new Ajax powered game stats page working. It's only showing one server at the moment. I need to do some minor adjustments to it and fix it in IE7 but you can check it out here. You can see the server ping change every 5 seconds and the rest of the content will update as there is something new to report like a player joining or leaving or changes in points all without having to refresh the page.

DOH! I am working on a new game stats page in ajax but it looks like it doesn't like Internet Explorer 7. It works in Firefox and IE6 but not Microsoft's latest offering. Can't they just get with the program?
