DOH! I got my butt kicked on the Quake Park Unreal Tournament 2004 server today by a girl.
Just had a pretty good game of Unreal Tournament 2004 deathmatch. I won the round with over 50 more frags than the second place finisher and I used the air fist the whole time. Maybe I should change my name to Crazy Air Fist Guy. Click here to see a picture of me doing my UT victory pose!
I was just checking the stats on how people are finding my site and for some reason I am the number 1 destination in Google for 'buzz buzz a little bit'. I don't remember ever saying 'buzz buzz a little bit' on my site until now but there ya go. Check it out.
The DOH! Network Unreal Tournament 2004 demo server has been pretty busy for the last couple of days. Looks like I have the right amount of bots and the rotation of maps/gametypes is working. Now I need to see if I can change the number of bots per gametype so that deathmatch has a minimum of two players and the other gametypes have a minimum of ten. I am also working on restoring the cgi version of the game servers page since qStats reports the Unreal Tournament info correctly. You can follow along with the status of that if you click here.
DOH! I played some more Unreal Tournament 2004 demo last night and got smoked. Makes me wonder if I'm too old to be gaming like egrep and Shaka. DOH! Double dog snap! I need to adjust the config to remove Assault and Bombing Run from the map rotation because they aren't as fun as the other gametypes. They kinda brought the server to a halt when they showed up. Tune in to the DOH! Network game servers page tonight to see if I get beat down again.
The DOH! Network and Quake Park Unreal Tournament 2004 demo servers have been updated to cycle through all of the game types now. As a test I started one of them up with 16 vs 16 bots. Assault really sucks when you can't get out of your train to defend it because 10 bots are blocking the exit as they shoot at the other train. I think I will remove Assault from the rotation because that's not a very fun level anyway. Uniballer sent me an email the other day to say the UT2004 demo doesn't work with his 64bit Vista install. Sounds like he's afraid of getting his butt kicked and has to make excuses to not play.
Is it just me or is Firefox starting to suck? On both my work and home computers it just stops responding a lot lately. Add to that the fact that it is constantly updating itself. I just want to check something real fast on the Internet but am always waiting for it to run the update I said no to last time I used it.
Just finished an action packed game of Unreal Tournament 2004 Demo. I won the last round of Free For All combat which is a nice change considering the last couple of days have seen me getting defeated over and over again on Onslaught. Click here to see a picture of me doing my victory dance.
The DOH! Network game server stats are kinda screwy when viewing UT2004 so I added them to Nopal's game server page so you can check there when looking to see who is connected. I'll have to revisit using qStats for the server stats page.
The Unreal Tournament 2004 demo servers were crazy last night. I got beaten pretty badly on one server like three rounds in a row and then finally won one round and another round on the other server. Use the download links in yesterday's post to download the demo and join in the mayhem. Don't be skerd like Shaka. Oh no I ditn't!!! Snap!
In case you missed Soldier of Fortune 2 the first time around, I set up a demo server of that on Quake Park. You can download the Soldier of Fortune II: Double Helix Multiplayer Test demo for Windows from Download.com and try it out for free!!!
Check out the DOH! Network Unreal Tournament 2004 demo server. Burning Mass gives it two enthusiastic thumbs up. If you have the full version of UT2004 you can join the demo server otherwise you can download it from File Front for PC, Mac or Linux.
The Quake Park Unreal Tournament 2004 demo server got pretty popular just now with 8 players. They dropped out pretty quick though. Probably because they found out the server is only running the Rankin deathmatch map. Something is screwy with the server on the DOH! Network game server page too because the players all have like a million points. I might have to set up a retail version of the server over there.
Shaka has revealed his surprise over on his official site. It's a graphic short-story titled Coda. There's no word yet on if it is related to Led Zeppelin's 1982 album of the same name.
The Quake Park Unreal Tournament 2004 demo server is running. I need to adjust the config so it runs through the different game types but it works. Download the demo for PC, Mac, and Linux from File Front then head over to the DOH! Network game servers page to see who's playing.
How is it that oil is supposedly $100 a barrel so we have to pay more at the pump and Shell Oil posts a $27.5 billion profit for 2007? Exxon Mobil reported an $11.7 billion dollar profit.
Maybe Shaka has made enough money that he can retire. That wouldn't be too shweet unless he has so much money he can give me some to retire too. Now that would be shweet!
