I was kinda slow to get on the Heroes bandwagon but it's pretty cool and thanks to the Internet you can watch every episode of Heroes online and get caught up this weekend just in time for the return of Heroes on Monday at 9pm on NBC.

I watched the season premiere of 24 this week. Apparently nobody can think for themselves except Jack Bauer and if he doesn't take care of something it's gonna turn out badly. Everybody should just stay home and let Jack go and do everything. I don't want to say too much in case I ruin it for the people who haven't watched it yet but the other people on the show are so stupid they don't even know to get back when a grenade is thrown. I was putting money in the snack machine at work the other day and I was eyeing the Snickers and noticed that Gummybears are right next to the Snickers and thought it would really suck to put in 60 cents for a Snickers and hit the wrong button and get Gummybears instead because Gummybears are ok but they don't satisfy like a Snickers.
I checked out Battlefield 2142 the other day at Lil Trooper's. It's a lot different from previous versions. It looks really good on his dual nVidia card setup and with the subwoofer it's really trippy to hear the mech coming especially if you are on the opposing team. I'm debating if I should pick it up with my Best Buy gift cards but there are only a couple of stock maps and it's not going to look as good on my system with one videocard and it's an EA product and EA's support for their games isn't that great. There is a BF2142 demo though so check that out for yourself. There isn't a dedicated Linux demo server though so it won't be running there.
